KANAA (meaning dream) Educational Trust was started with the dream of uplifting the lives of the underprivileged, marginalized, vulnerable and delinquent children and youth in a dignified manner. Kanaa believes education is fundamental to an equitable society. The famous saying, “Give a man a fish, and you’ll feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, and you’ve fed him for a lifetime.” is a mantra that can alleviate inequality and poverty in the society as a holistic education equips and empowers children and youth with the knowledge, skills, awareness, and the proper attitudes and values to become responsible and fruitful citizens.
